When Brenda (Kelly Hu) discovers she has breast cancer, she reaches out to her biological daughter, Talia (Sylvia Kwan), whom she gave up for adoption as a baby. Talia welcomes the reconnection with her birth mother and encourages Brenda to make a bucket list of things she’s always wanted to do. The two women forge a bond as they set out to complete the list together.
